Each month, on the 2nd Friday evening (5:30 – 8:30 P.M.), residents of Fort Wood open their home to neighbors for a social get-together. The next Fort Wood Book Club meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 23, at the home of Lisa Mack, 846 Oak Street, at 7:00 P.M. The book selected is “The Fourth Turning” by Strauss and Howe.
For October, we’ve selected “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. 2010 is the 50th anniversary of the publication of this American classic. The time and place for the October meeting TBA.
